    Hello everyone!

I'm Teresa, and I live in the beautiful countryside in the north of the Czech Republic. My sweet home is situated in the middle of a field on the edge of a small village named Bukovany (Nový bor), where I am currently building a tiny house.

If you're interested in embracing a simple, nature-focused lifestyle and would like to experience it firsthand while lending a helping hand, I would be happy to welcome you here. :) It will be fun!

Are you interested in learning about this lifestyle? Do you want to know what kind of work you need to do to make this project a reality? How many different skills do you need to learn? And how many mistakes do you need to make before you can do things better? It's all about gaining experience, and that's what I can offer you. Let´s learn together from each other. :)

When you come here, it's not just about working on the project. As I mentioned earlier, this place is surrounded by beautiful and peaceful nature. My dog and I really enjoy exploring the landscape by taking walks, whether it's a short walk or an all-day adventure. There are many nice and friendly people in the village and all around. Also I am a big fan of board games, chess, and other similar forms of fun.

There's so much to discover! In the nearby area of Bukovany, you'll find small villages with traditional old buildings (Sloup v Čechách and Svojkov are famous), castles, and churches. My favorite place is Modlivý důl in Svojkov, you should visit it :). In the countryside, you'll encounter diverse landscapes like wild mixed forests with impressive sandy rocks, pastures for animals, and flowery fields and fields for agriculture. There are also water reservoirs where you can swim. If you want to visit a city, Nový bor is nearby and known as the city of glassblowers with a unique atmosphere. This is the closest area to my home that you can easily reach on foot or by bike. Or you can go to the pub in the neighboring village and enjoy a beer :).

There are countless options in the surroundings of my home in Bukovany, and I can't mention them all. If you would like to go more far, you can go to Máchovo jezero for swimming and summer parties, meet people there, or make a trip to the border where you'll find mountains and protected forest areas like the České Švýcarsko National Park, CHKO Labské pískovce, and CHKO Lužické hory. The opportunities for free time activities here are endless, depending on what you'd like to do. Life is not just about work; it should be lived to the fullest every day. :)

At last but not least, we could also learn from each other to improve our English skills. We can work on speaking, understanding, communication, and explanation. It's a useful skill that I also want to work on. It is a kind of thing that we always make better, do you agree? What about you?

Spring is already here, and summer is approaching!

It's a great time to continue rebuilding the tiny house I started last year. As you can see in the pictures, it was initially an old, unpleasant caravan looking more like garbage, unfit for living.

Do you agree that we should try to recycle things first before we throw them away as waste? It's my big dream to make this a reality. I also would like to create a space where people can enjoy meeting each other. And if you are a woman, don't be afraid that these kinds of work are only for men. :)

It took a lot of time and hard work to remove everything last year, as well as grind and paint the construction's frame. Until you go through this experience, it's hard to imagine. In my opinion, this is not an impossible mission, even for women. It's about personal growth and how much you are keen on of learning something new.

Would you like to embark on a similar journey in your life? It may seem idyllic and lovely, but as you surely know, with freedom comes responsibility and additional work. Here, you have the opportunity to find out if it suits you. I hope you are the right person who understands that. :)

This year, my plan is to continue rebuilding the tiny house and making the field area more comfortable for living. Do you have any ideas to improve this place? Let's discuss! It's not just about the tiny house; it's about the entire system of this location.

Are you interested in helping me with the rebuilding? Your help would be highly appreciated, and it will allow you to gain your own experiences and determine if this lifestyle is right for you.

If you have decided to embrace this lifestyle and get closer to nature with patience and determination, feel free to ask me anything you'd like to know. :)

More heads know better! Let's share our opinions and make this whole place more comfy and independent. :)

    Alojamiento

As you can see in the pictures, there aren't many options for full comfortable accommodation because I need to build it first. Currently, my dog and I are living in a small camper van, a Ford Transit.

I will lend you a tent for sleeping and other necessary items. The bathroom with a earth-closed is located outside in a wooden booth. The shower uses sunlight to heat the water and can sometimes be cold. However, it's not too bad it becomes easier over time, and it's good for your health. :)

But don't worry! There's free drinking water and electricity available. I also have a cooking area and a fridge to keep food fresh. There's an internet connection too, so you won't be isolated on the desert island. I even have a small washing machine for clothes. The equipment here is simple, with just the essentials.

Whether you arrive with a camper van, car, or just a backpack, you're very welcome to join. I eat meat, but I can cook for vegetarians without any problem. And for sure, I shouldn't eat meat every day. I hope to be a good cook and to make and offer you tasty meals. :) I will cook three meals a day every day. Typically, I include meat in my meals, but I have no problem preparing vegetarian dishes exclusively. I hope they will be delicious and enjoyable for you. I usually cook, bake, or fry the food to create a variety of flavors and textures.

You can bring your own pet if you have one, as long as it is friendly and gets along well with other animals. You don't need to worry because it is an animals-friendly place. :)

The shop is not located in the village, but there are supermarkets nearby in Česká lípa and Nový bor. It's a pleasant walk or we can drive there by car.

If you're up for this adventure with an open mind, you're very welcome to join me. I look forward to sharing my home with you! :)

Don't be ashamed to ask if you would like to know something! Feel free to ask. :)
