  Hello!
  
  We live in beautiful Parksville, BC on Vancouver Island with our young family. We have two big dogs, a two year old and a newborn! We love the ocean and mountains and spending time outdoors.
  
  We live in a quiet neighbourhood right on the beach, and walking distance to town and all your local amenities.
  
  With our kids and dogs keeping our days busy, we would love help with keeping our half acre garden organized and our projects of building a veggie garden and stairs down to the beach!

  We are very friendly and so are our dogs! We look forward to learning with you about native plant species, growing a veggie and floral garden, building fencing and stairs to withstand the natural weather here. Our neighbourhood and community are also very welcoming and friendly with lots of activities going on throughout the year. Parksville has a vibrant community with lots going on, music, arts and outdoors.
  
  Bonus - we live right on the ocean, so you can enjoy paddle boarding, kayaking and swimming from our house everyday :)
  
  We are walking distance to the main town (15 mins). There are buses through town to Nanaimo and 30 minutes to the ferry to take you to Vancouver. We are also en route to Tofino. A very central location to explore all that Vancouver Island has to offer.
  
  Our home is a waterfront home, there is access to the beach only a few houses away (until we get the stairs to the beach finished, then you can use those!).

  Ayuda

  Gardening - We have half an acre that has lots of potential and a lot of projects I'm looking to get done! Would love your assistance in general garden maintenance, hedges trimmed, weeds to be pulled, planting native species and learning what is best to grow in our climate.
  I also have started a veggie garden, but basically need to start from scratch again this year. So if you would like to learn more about growing veggies and getting it all set up - I will be working on that :)
  
  Carpentry - the veggie garden needs a new fence as the deer climbed over the fence I built last year! So if you have carpentery experience, you can help us figure out the best deer proof fencing struture for around the veggie garden.
  
  We are also building a set of stairs down an embankment on our property to the beach! An extra set of hands with outdoor carpentry / stair building experience would be wonderful as we get started on this project.

  You will stay in our coach house - 650sq ft, one bedroom, one bathroom, kitchen, living room and cozy gas fireplace.
  Shared meals and ingredients to cook your own food will be provided :)
