Our organisation is dedicated to the preservation of the critically endangered Muriqui and Brazilian biodiversity. The Muriqui is the largest primate of the Americas and one of the most endangered primates of the world. Affectionally known as the "Hippy Monkey," this vegetarian monkey lives in the Atlantic Forest in social groups.
We are currently operating a research center in the region of Ibitipoca, in Minas Gerais. One of the last remaining populations of the Muriqui live here, in a nature reserve that has been dedicated to reforesting the region over the last thirty years.

Our project is located in the rural area of Minas Gerais, in lush Atlantic Forest and traditional Mineiro farms. The project is 20 kilometers from the State Park of Ibitipoca, considered the third best state park in South America.
We need help around the house, helping with meals and the garden. We are implementing argoforestry systems, and appreciate the help that people with talents and skills can contribute.
Our research base consists of a two bedroom brick house with a kitchen and living room. Each room has a bathroom and four sets of twin-sized beds.
There are a number of natural attractions in the region, such as waterfalls and sand fields. Nearby the village of Morreiros is the attraction of "Agua Santa," a caved that, according to local legend, has blessed water.
