Descripción
We are Caterina and Noa. We live in Palermo in a house with a nice garden, very close to the center of the city. We have also 3 dogs, Gin, Ugo and Lola, and also 2 cats: Palletta e Giuseppe.
Caterina (53 years old) is an Environmental Engineer and she travels a lot for business. Noa is a very funny girl, she is 18.
Palermo is a beautiful city with a nice climate. Near Palermo there are a lot of gorgeous sea places.
WE WELCOME SOMEONE IN MANAGING OUR HOUSE (cleaning), PLANTS (watering an take care, Little manteinance of the garden) AND PETS (take care) and house sitting for august!!! We accept also 2 workawayers for august.

!!! WE ARE URGENTLY SEEKING ASSISTANCE FROM NOVEMBER 10TH TO DECEMBER 22ND AND 31ST, 2025!!!

I only accept applications from women since there are only me and Noa in the family. I'm sorry about that.

We need someone who can help us in family organization and principally in animal care: Gin, Ugo & Lola need to go out almost 3 time per day.
We also need someone to help us keep daily the house tidy and clean. Sometimes I may need someone to take care of the plants and the garden and small maintenance of the house.

you'll have your own room with a french bed, dresser and desk and if necessary, we can equip you with a bike to move easily in the city, it's not allowed to smoke inside the apartment (of course it is allowed on the terrace and garden)

We love having guests, but we demand respect for the common areas and order and cleanliness, because we guarantee the same. We demand transparency in the relationship: if anything goes wrong we say it immediately so that we always have a good atmosphere at home.

This was my first workaway experience and I couldn't have found a better one! It was an amazing adventure with lots of moments of love, joy, laughter and sometimes challenges. Caterina and Noa are bot very sweet, loving and caring and they would go above and beyond to meet your needs and make you feel at home. I felt very welcomed, I met their… read more family and friends and there was always something going on at the house :) I loved and appreciated our conversations, projects around the house and all the time spent with them. Cate is very creative, fun and deep, and also a great cook, so you would have amazing time together, I am sure. I also learned a lot of Italian from talking to them, and also a lot about living in Italy and the culture in general. Her parents are the cutest! I feel so happy to have been able to spend time with them, too! The pets are also very fun to be around, very active (the dogs, cats are super chill like most cats lol) and they need a bit time to get to know you and feel comfortable around you. I used to take them out several times a day and it was a great way to walk around the neighborhood, learn a lot ot Italian while you talk to other dog owners and just hang out with the dogs. Gin (the older dog) is a free spirit and she loves her independence, and Ugo is cute as a button and very playful. I got used to them quickly and I love and miss them very much! The house is a breath of fresh air, very stylish, a 15-minute bus ride/30 minutes by bike from the main Hisotric district of Palermo, where most attractions are, very spacious and comfortable and close to supermarkets, coffee shops and amazing gelato shops :) We fixed one of the bikes when I was there, so you can use it if you want (just be careful because Italians are very crazy when driving :)). Palermo has a lot to offer, it's very rich in history, architecture (Liberty style), entertainment and a big expat community (expats living in Palermo FB group) that you can spend time with, go on trips and explore the area with. There are plenty of day trips you can do from Palermo and it's really worth it. Overall, my stay was amazing and I am super grateful for host like Caterina and Noa! Cate, I love and miss you very much! You, Noa and your family will always be a part of me and my journey and I can't wait to see you again one day! Thank you for everything! I am so happy I met you all!
