Welcome. Our farmhouse from 1680 is situated on a hill top next to a forest on 9 Acres. We are setting up the property in a permaculture way; organic, raised beds, a crater-garden and a food forest. We are waiting for the permit to start a permaculture camping with some cabins and tree-houses. We are restoring the house in the traditional/green way, use reclaimed oak and chestnut beams and carved stones from an old ruin and work with lime, stone, clay and insulation from natural materials. We will make a greenhouse, chicken pen, swimming pond and. We love our work, vegetarian food, and jamming around the camp-fire. Activities include: green building, organic vegetable garden, and forestry. We are a family with two children and we enjoy our time with volunteers!
Recreation: Pyrenees mountains, ocean beach, swimming in a river. We speak French, English, Dutch, German and some Italian.
Bienvenue. Notre ferme de 1680 est située sur une colline au bord de la forêt sur 3,5 hectares. Nous aménageons la propriété de manière permaculture; biologique, des plates-bandes surélevés, un jardin cratère et une forêt comestible. On attend le permis pour commencer un camping permaculture avec des cabanes (perchées). Nous restaurons la maison de manière traditionnelle / écologique et utilisons des poutres de chêne et de châtaigner et pierres taillées récupérées d'une ancienne ruine. On utilise de la chaux, de la pierre, de l'argile et de l'isolation naturel. On fera une serre, un poulailler, un étang de baignade. Nous aimons notre travail, la nourriture végétarienne et Faire un bœuf autour du feu de camp. Les activités comprennent: écoconstruction, le potager bio et la foresterie. Nous sommes une famille avec deux enfants et nous apprécions notre temps avec les bénévoles!
Loisirs: Pyrénées, plage de l'océan, baignade dans une rivière. Nous parlons français, anglais, néerlandais et allemand avec notion d'italien.

at the moment we are renovating the attic of the little house (from 1680) and we would like some help with that, DIY but if you have more motivation than skills it's fine too, you will learn as we go ;)

we provide organic food and do the kitchen together, but we opened an organic shop with vegetarian restaurant last july, so now there is always lots of food and a lot of improvisation because the shop takes a lot of time ;)

we have a trampoline, table tennis, badminton and games.
there is a bus going from the Pau railway station to Monein.
we prefer that you arrive and leave during the weekends :)
