🌍✨ Welcome to Takoradi, Ghana! ✨🌍
I host volunteers who want to experience real Ghanaian culture while making a difference. We have opportunities in two local schools (teaching English, maths, arts, or sports) and on a community poultry farm (helping with animal care and small-scale farming).
Here you’ll not only support our community, but also discover the famous Takoradi Masquerade Festival (Ankos) in December, explore beautiful beaches, and learn Ghanaian cooking, drumming, and dance. Volunteers become like family — sharing culture, food, and experiences together.
If you’re positive, open-minded, and eager to learn, we’d love to welcome you! 💛Tipos de ayuda y oportunidades de aprendizaje

🌍 Cultural Exchange and Learning Opportunities
Volunteers will have the chance to experience Ghanaian life in a very authentic way. By staying with us and working in our community, you can:
Immerse yourself in Ghanaian culture: learn about our traditions, history, and daily life while making real connections with local families, teachers, and students.
Experience Takoradi’s famous Ankos Carnival (December) 🎭: one of Ghana’s biggest and most colourful cultural events, full of music, dance, and costumes.
Learn Ghanaian cooking 🍲: try your hand at preparing local dishes like jollof rice, banku, fufu, and light soup.
Practice or learn local languages 🗣️: such as Fante and Twi, in addition to English.
Enjoy West African music and dance 🥁💃: take part in drumming, singing, and dance, which are an important part of our culture.
Discover daily life in schools and on farms: see how education and agriculture are done in Ghana, which may be different from what you are used to.
Explore nature and history 🌴⛵: visit beaches, markets, and historic sites in the Western Region, and enjoy the warmth of the Ghanaian people.
This exchange is not only about helping — it’s about learning, sharing, and growing together.Proyectos con niños

Ghana has a warm tropical climate – bring light clothes, but also something modest for school and community activities.
Please respect local culture and traditions; greetings, hospitality, and respect for elders are very important here.
We welcome travellers from all backgrounds – whether you are a teacher, artist, farmer, or just eager to help, there is always a way to contribute.
