In the north of Germany, nearby the Mecklenburgische Seenplatte and not so far away from the Eastsea in a small village with a little lake for swimming, which is very nice especially in summertime, living around eighty peoples.
Here is our house. In the garden there are 5 sheeps, 8 chicken, 3 running ducks, a lot of goldfish and our dog´s name is Bruno. We arrived in 2014. Since this time we renovate the original cowshed, mostly ecological.

We live in the area of the former GDR, therefore you will maybe find an different lifstyle to West Germany. Here are living some families with their own history of refugees after second worldwar, coming back from Poland, Romania...
After the turn from GDR to FRG in 1990 some families from West Germany have settled down in this village, mostly looking for living in nature and more natural life - and silence. Here are living local people together with people from Berlin, Hamburg, Dortmund, Dresden, Netherland and Austria, like a social patchwork.

Workaway volunteers have been visiting us since 2018, supporting us and the place, and helping to make it more beautiful. We are delighted to see how the place and how we self have changed, also because of the many different volunteers influence from Germany, Denmark, Italy, France, Catalonia, Brazil, Swiss, Japan, Belgium, Spain.
Living together with most of the volunteers was wonderfully fruitful, but unfortunately there were also experiences that were less good. Thank God it was only the minority. People's chemistry is different.
But after all the experience of these years, we would like to get to know more of you.
So we like to go on to have another workaway year - we invite helping hands for little renovation work in and around the house and more work in the garden and care with our animals.
Our terrain need more fences, built with hedges, graze, wood and stone, a new duckshed and some help to develop permaculture in the fruit and vegetable garden.
Before we came here, we traveled in Asia for 3 years, then our desire to travel was more or less satisfied and the call for a port became our next clear goal. So, here we are and if you enjoy our lifestyle, contact us.

For our workaway volunteers we have a bauwagen and a mobile gardenhouse for staying and sleeping. Food will be prepared together and is taken in our kitchen, or with sunshine on the terrace in the garden. We shower in our shared bathroom in the house. There is additionally a cold shower and a toilet in the mobile home and a brand new compost toilet next to the trailer.

Since 2018 workaway volunteers are our guests. The house and garden are nonsmoker areas, we have infront of the house, under a tree a smoker bench. We love our place and we like to make it much more better for a good living here, as part of the world. The manifestation, witch everybody can see, is our highest value for the experience how to love and live together. If you have the same idea of life and want support, come as soon as possible.
