  We are an English Center/language school in Balkhash Kazakhstan. We're passionate about providing quality language learning experiences to both kids and adults in Balkhash.
  
  With Balkhash being quite remote from the major cities of Almaty and Astana language students here have very few opportunities to meet native English speakers face-to-face but it never stops them from doing their best.
  
  We're proud of our students, our staff, and our beautiful lake, Balkhash. You should come and see it for yourself.

  People here are very open and hospitable. There will be plenty of opportunities to meet local families, eat national food, and visit nature near the town.

  We would like to have young native English speakers come and stay with us here. We need help with just coming to our classes at different levels, speaking with the students, as well as spending time with our teachers and students outside of class.
  
  We're willing to host somebody for as little as two weeks and as long as 3 months. We would provide accommodations. If it is in Balkhash, you'll be living with a family at our house and have your own room.
  
  2025 update:
  As of this summer, our family has left Balkhash for Bishkek in Kyrgyzstan, but I (Anna) continue managing the school remotely. Our beloved house is still available for the workawayers. Our dear friends, Lena and Victor live there now. They are excellent hosts, too! I'll update the photos as soon as possible. For the male guests, we also have a room available at the apartment of one of our male teachers.
  
  All our teachers and students are eager to meet you and learn about you, and study English with you. If you have a heart for teaching English, we're looking forward to hosting you.
  
  If you want to stay in KZ for more than one month, then you'll have to leave the country and go to Bishkek for a day or two after 30 days. This means that I'll be able to meet you in Bishkek in person. Message me here and we'll arrange a video chat, so I can answer all your questions.

  We here speak Russian and Kazak. English is commonly used by the staff members and our students. We also enjoy learning new languages - among them are German, Turkish, Korean and Spanish.

  Alojamiento

  We have a summer house above the garage in our yard which can be used up to late October. It has a nice bathroom, a couch and a fridge. During winter months an apartment will be rented for any visitors.
  
  Staying with our family is also an option if a workawayer would want that and if it's not a long-term.

  Algo más...

  There is not much to do in our city but you can always find somebody willing to hang out with either at home or at a cafe. We have a museum, and a movie theater, but our lake is undoubtedly a magnet, especially during summer.
  
  The town is quite small. One can reach most places on foot. The taxi in any direction is no more than 1.5 USD.
