Hello everyone,
We are developing a permaculture farm near Ranthambore Tiger Reserve. We are currently building a community space with mud which includes a hand sculpted cob house. We are working on building the mud structure with our own hands including doors, windows and other functionalities. We are also working on our kitchen garden with raised and sunken beds for veggies, a herb spiral and more.
We are working on making the space self sufficient in terms of food, energy and waste management. We are also including passive solar design, both for the built and unbuilt spaces.
The farm is in a village in Rajasthan with practically no public transport internally.Tipos de ayuda y oportunidades de aprendizaje

Intercambio cultural y oportunidades de aprendizaje
While staying here people can explore the local village and places nearby.
They can learn Hindi & Marwari languages and can also learn to cook local food including millet recipes.
We sometimes also go camping on the nearby river to appreciate the natural beauty around us!Proyectos con niños

Ayuda
We are looking for creative and hard working people who can contribute with the physical help at the farm. This includes building the mud structure with cobbing and helping with the plants. All ideas to help us achieve our regenerative goals at the farm are also welcome :)
Everything on the farm is a work in progress right now so it would be better if the people like to work hands on.
We also love to cook together and have fun while working.
We appreciate people who contribute in managing the space and as we are working in close proximity to the local community, we expect people to keep in mind the culture of the place while staying here.Idiomas

We will be staying in our house in the village. It has a functional kitchen, clean bathrooms with hot water, separate dorms for men and women if needed and a rooftop with the view of the whole village which is perfect for morning yoga practice and relaxing in the evening.
Food will be provided. We also have a working kitchen in case somebody wants to cookAlgo más...
People can explore nearby temples and forts, go for a swim in the river and try fishing with the locals.
We have train and bus stations in our village and nearby villages as well.
People can also plan for national park safari.Un poco más de información

Everyone—from the host family to the people working on the farm and the villagers—was really friendly.
I worked on creating art on the house walls using mud and also made a mud bench.
There were also three other Workawayers besides me, and I really enjoyed spending time with them.
I’m grateful for such a valuable… read more
Yuvraj was an amazing host, so lovely, caring and generous. He looked after us very well, making sure we were comfortable and helping us with further travels. The food he cooked was amazing, with the help of Serpach and his wife - our bellies were always full!
The work was also very enjoyable. Tiring especially in… read more
The best I've done so far !
Yuvraj was an excellent host. His communication before was great. Once we arrived he was kind, accommodating and provided delicious meals with the help of his right hand man Sahpanj.
I learnt a lot about Cob building and clay plastering and it felt so great to do some… read more

About Village :
It is really nice village, far away from the hustle of the city area. Life slow here, so you will enjoy the stay. It has really rich history and beautiful temples. My stay was really memorable, will definitely… read more
My experience at this place was bittersweet
Good thing-
- Yuvraj is really a good cook and makes sure you're well fed.
- You'll get sometime to spend in nature as the place is very quiet.
Not so good thing-
