Hello everyone!
I am Dayat, I was born in Bali and I moved to Lombok at a very young age with my large family. Growing up, I have been living between Bali, Lombok and the Gili Islands.
Seven years ago I founded my sustainable tourism company with the help of Hannah.
When Covid hit we lost nearly everything: we were a team of 10 wonderful independent drivers and guides. We launched an English club in our village, which we fund by donating a portion of our income from the trips: our goal is to give local children the opportunity to learn English in a fun and relaxed environment. We are now trying to bring back the company to how it used to be and to improve our English speaking club project in the local village.
We are looking for workawayers with creative skills — precisely in photography, videography, social media content creation, copywriting and web design. You will help us grow our visibility while producing footage and photos for the trips around Lombok and it's Gili islands in which you will take part of.
Also, our team is looking for volunteers who are comfortable around kids from all ages and can speak English (your english doesn't have to be fluent), so that they can help teach and practice in the English club and meet our wonderful students!
Lastly, it would be amazing to be surrounded by workawayers who deeply care about sustainable tourism and the environment, in order to share their knowledge with locals and help the community understand the gravity of the plastic situation.
We really believe in our project and we will be happy to involve you in this amazing life experience!
Being a tourism company, we love to offer unique excursions to our volunteers: once a week you will be able to experience our off-the-beaten-track trips and discover the beautiful island of Lombok.
Do not hesitate to contact us and, if you want to find out more about our company and our tours, check out our website: Feel LombokTipos de ayuda y oportunidades de aprendizaje

You will either live in a local Muslim or Hindu village located in Central Lombok.
We will kindly ask our volunteers to adjust into our culture: please wear T-shirts and long pants/skirts when walking around the Muslim village and teaching in the English club - of course you are free to wear whatever you want at the basecamp and the Hindu village.Proyectos con niños

We ask for 1-2 hours a day of volunteering, that includes one or more of the following tasks:
English teaching: you don’t have to be a certified teacher, simply someone who is confident in having to speak to a group of 20 kids and knows the basics of the English language;
Photography and videography: we need somebody who is traveling with his own equipment, it would be amazing to have drone shots and create promotional content for our tourism company and for our social projects;
Copywriting: our website and social media accounts need to be updated and for that, we are looking for a person with writing skills;
Social media content creation: short form content, reels, Instagram stories and posts;
Admin and communication skills to help us with our emails and collaborations;
Web design: if you know how to use Wordpress, then we need you as well.
*Experienced with Architectural Drawings: We'd love to start our hostel project in the village, we need someone who knows how to design.*
We are not necessarily looking for professionals, our goal is to develop our visibility online, improve our content, boost our English club and make a positive impact in our local village and its environment. So, if you are a passionate person and you are driven by what you do, drop us a message. We are sure that you can help us inspire our wonderful community!Idiomas

You'll be staying in one of the available homestays in the village. You will either live on your own, share the house with a local family or with another workawayer.
The bathroom can either be a western bathroom or a local style bathroom (squat toilet with a bucket and a water tap), no hot water is available.
One of the homestays is our ´basecamp´. Here the volunteers can gather around and spend time together. The homestay also has a garden with gazebo and hammock where you can chill during the day and evening.
Coffee and tea is available. And every morning breakfast is included: there will be items like eggs, toast and different kinds of fruit.
The homestay has Wi-Fi.
From the village, it takes:
- 2 min walking to the local warung for lunch and dinner;
- 5 min by scooter to the ATM;
- 5 min by scooter to local market and local supermarkets;
- 25 min by scooter to western supermarket;
- 25 min by scooter to Mataram, the biggest city of the island (immigration, western restaurants, mall, hospital, etc.), there'll be a cinema
