  My husband Bruce and I live with our hound-mix Cleo in a 1798 colonial in the beautiful Park Hill area of Westmoreland New Hampshire (USA). Westmoreland is in between Keene NH and Brattleboro VT, along the Connecticut River. We are looking for someone to watch our home and Cleo when we travel. It’s a historic and idyllic farming community that’s a great location for outdoor activities and a stone’s throw from the several charming communities in southwestern New Hampshire and southeastern Vermont. There’s very little required in watching our home: take in the mail daily and walk and feed Cleo, with a commitment to not leaving her alone for more than 5 hours at a time, while you explore everything this charming part of New England has to offer.

  Our house was built in 1798 and is next to the Park Hill Meeting House which is on the National Register of Historic Places. The meeting house is widely considered the most attractive church edifice in New England. A visit here is like a step back in time. There are several restored historic homes surrounding the Park Hill square and the meeting house. Travelers here will gain a keen understanding of colonial New England life, while also enjoying modern conveniences.

  Responsible pet and home sitting. We are looking for someone to watch our home and our dog Cleo. There’s very little required in watching our home: take in the mail daily and walk and feed Cleo, with a commitment to not leaving her alone for more than 5 hours at a time. What’s involved in taking care of Cleo? (1) feed her breakfast in the morning and dinner in the evening. (2) play fetch for a few minutes, twice per day. (3) walk her for her potty breaks a few additional times per day. Very little maintenance is required for the house. Just take in the mail Monday through Saturday and watering the plants. There may also be some yard work and gardening, if desired.
  
  This first posting is for a specific period of time for a planned vacation that we have. We will be gone from March 29th to April 8th. We would like the workers here from March 28th to April 9th and can work with them if they would like to stay a little longer.

  Whole house with a private bedroom and private bath, with full access to a kitchen, sitting room, and all indoor outdoor spaces in the house (with the one exception of the master bedroom suite which will be closed). A maximum of two people. If the two people do want to share a bedroom, there is a second bedroom also available. Basic items in the refrigerator and pantry are available for consumption. Due to the rural nature of the area, a car is a required. There are several stores within a 10-15 drive from the house. There’s is also a charming store open for breakfast and lunch (Mon - Sat), that is less than 1.5 miles from the house. A car is required, so please do not apply if you do not have, or do not plan to rent, a car.

  There are several hiking trails in the area. Keene NH and Brattleboro VT are both very charming larger towns that offer an array of things to do. Walpole NH, which is known for its Restaurant at Burdick’s and the famous chocolate and tea shop, just a 10 more nite drive. We will be adding more details here.

  We have fiber to the home Internet in our home and two home offices that our visitors can use for work while they are here. It is best that they bring their own device(s).
