  Join me in rustic living on a remote homestead in the forest on an off-grid island in the Georgia Straight to enjoy close community and the beautiful land here. Come and help me to work on improvments here and around the neighbourhood.

  Our small community has lots of community events where arts and cultural exchange are the focus. I would particularly love to host any indigenous folk from South or North America. I can share my practical skills learned over 20 years of off-grid homesteading.

  Alojamiento

  In a little guest cabin or a tent. I will provide food and we will share the cooking of all meals. I eat mostly organic and local when possible... there is no store on the island so you should come provisioned with any particular foods you desire.

  Hitch-hiking is an option on the island, as is borrowing a bicycle. We have an outhouse, and no white socks (its all earth, no concrete here :) Cell phones don't get reliable service.
