Travelling
Description
Howdy, My name is Quincee, and I’m so happy to be traveling once more in Asia, and even happier to meet you here!! Through my solo-travels, I have been slowly but surely remembering the intrinsic lightness and authenticity which we all share as our essence through all challenges that may come (yes, you too).
After graduating with my psychology degree, I have been working as a landscaper, wilderness therapy guide, facilitator and teacher of art and movement programs to children. I have also sustained a freelance art venture that has allowed me to paint two murals (in italy and India) in the past year! This is my deepest joy.
I am currently applying for MFA programs in fine art and art therapy, with the dream to help everyone remember that they can access creative genius, and use that energy to heal themselves and the world.
I am also a certified yoga teacher and have just finished a 200 hour training in the practices of Kundalini yoga in Rishikesh, India. I am passionate about teaching Hatha, Kundalini, Pranayama, meditation and sharing somatic therapy tools.
Personality wise, most of my friends describe me as genuine, gregarious and affectionate! I am used to living in community, and am an open heart in every sense. I feel deep purpose in observing the varied and beautiful life-ways around me, and offering support to those who need it. I love to dance, create, cook and play, and balance it all out with time spent practicing, walking, reading and sketching (Yin/yang).
I have also been designated chef in several of my communities. Cooking food for people is one of my absolute favorite love languages!
Combining travel, friendships, food, mindfulness, and deep creativity is what i am searching for in my experience. I would ideally love to create something permanent for my hosts! I hope to be around others who are mindful, and share a desire to savor and celebrate the beauty of life and the joy of the human incarnation. All of this said, I’m very flexible, love to get my hands dirty and can find joy in myriad situations.
I am happy to work 5-6 days a week, so long as I have time in the evenings to get to know the people around me and explore my surroundings.
Thank you, Namaste, May you forever open!Interests

My strongest skills include art teaching, yoga teaching, designing, gardening, painting, cooking, organizing cooking—But, I am able-bodied and can learn to do anything with instruction! I have recently learned how to build mud-houses (so much fun!).
For the past couple of years, I have been a freelance artist so I am familiar with not only the art side of things, but also with website building and social media management. If these things are needed, I can certainly help in creating them. I am also enthusiastic about sharing my understanding with others, so I would be thrilled to teach exploratory painting workshops during my stay, whether it be to my fellow volunteers, hosts or other guests.
I have also spent the past couple of years as a landscaper and gardener, and I love being with the world of floraAge
