Description
Hi!
I'm Pierre, a born-and-raised french guy, who moved in Canada 2 years ago to finish my university. I just finished my master's thesis in biomedical engineering, and I am taking a gap year from Sept. 2023.
I've always love to travel (alone or with family and friends), especially for long hikes, treks or immersive experiences. Never without my analog camera and a good book while moving... I also really enjoy staying still, looking at the landscape. But above all, I'm very handy and I love working and creating with my own hands! I grew up in the french countryside, working the summer in the fields, helping my carpenter uncle, or the neighbour with its animal.
To sum this up, I am really looking forward to go from places to places this year. Helping as much as I can, and living outside the more I can!Interests

I've always love to work with my hands, especially creating stuffs!
I was always near my father (a very handy one) and my uncle (who's a carpenter) as a kid. Helping them renovate houses, or building furnitures! Recently, I built up from scratch my own bookshelf (and I'm very proud of it!).
I've also always love to help my mother and our neighbours for the outside work, like gardening, fence-building, tree-cutting, etc... There were always animals around us, and I really love them :-)
On another hand, I am quite a creative person. I do a lot of photography and read a lot (write a little). And definitely, I love to create anything from scratch, learning new techniques and acquiring abilities! I grew up in a very rural area, and the best thing about it (from my opinion), is that you have to do a lot of stuff by yourself, knowing what you're using or eating really cost from your hand!
Last but not least, I wanted to be a pastry chef when I was younger. I trained a lot for that, and I am proud to say that the thing that I'm probably the best at is cooking!Age

The house is very peaceful, and you have everything you need: bikes, kayak, water spots, etc...!
Nova Scotia is such a fun place to explore!
