  • Description

    Hi!

    My name is Pako

I'm a Spaniard based in Scotland. I'm a dj and an artist at heart.

I became a workawayer because I felt I needed a break from my life.

I'm determined to accomplish one of my biggest dreams which is to improve my French in France for the next few months.

I have many hobbies, although I mainly spend most of my free-time cooking for my friends, going for long walks and listening to music.

I have a curious nature and I'm passionate about art and food.
These days, I developed a strong interested in changing habits and therefore I'm very commited to my self-growth, well-being and personal development.

I'm looking forward to learn new things and meet like minded people and share experiencies that help me have a broaden outlook in life

    :)

  • More details about your skills

At present, I'm teaching kids a music workshop in English until the end of 2023.

I have a 8 year experience in the customer service field. I've worked in hotels and accomodations as a receptionist, therefore I'm experienced on being the first person of contact and hosting/welcoming guests.

In fact, I've been hosting Airbnb guests in my flat this year so dealing with people has become a second nature for me.

I'm also good with computers, emailing customers and suppliers, managing reservations etc.
I've also helped with the cleaning of the rooms, topping up the fridge, moping, etc

I'm very skillful with social media since I have to spread and advertise a music label that I own: from releases, to events, tickets, etc.

I speak Spanish (native), Italian (native), English (native) and French (intermediate)

I've worked as a tour guide for 3 years in Scotland where I've broaden my knowledge on meeting people's needs. Normally people from different background, culture and ethnicity. I also developed the capacity to anticipate people's demands based on simple conversations/interactions. I'm good with psychology and I have refined soft skills.

I'm a good chef (and passionate) although I've never worked as such.
However, this is something I'm looking forward to do in a small b&b or any small accomodation.

I'm also keen on wine and knowledgeable on cocktails as I've worked as a bartender a couple of times.

I once helped a friend with the grape harvest in the vineyard he owns and it was fun.

This is something I'd love to do again or at least work a bit in a wine farm, factory or similar.
I'm an artist at heart and therefore I'm really creative.
I'm good at organising events, decorating, creating food menus, etc

  • Age

    39

  • What else ...

My hobbies are music (I'm a DJ), movies, cooking, hiking, personal development, etc.

My favourite plan is prepring a nice playlist for my guests and cook a nice meal for them. A nice wine (if it's natural, much better) is always a must.

I love hosting friends. I even miss my work as a bartender because I enjoyed making cocktails and tell stories about them to my clients.

I'm an artist at heart so I love all things creative, although, I have not developed many skills yet. This is something I'm looking forward to change. In fact, I'm hoping to learn a lot of things in the next 7 months in France such as: embroidery, silver and jewellery making, etc

These days, I'm focusing a lot on my well-being and therefore I'm introducing a lot of new habits: meditation, yoga, breathing exercices, stretching, fasting etc.

I live in Scotland and one of the things I like the most here is nature. But since the weather is not good most of the time I'm hoping to walk a lot in nature and go on hikes whenever I have the chance in France.
