My name is Monica and I was born and raised in Rimini, a small city in Italy.
I am currently living in Australia with the Working Holiday Visa.
I am passionate about traveling since I was a teenager and I love meeting new people all around the world.
I have lived in 2017 as an au pair in Dublin where I had to take care of two wonderful kids. That was my first solo-experience and gave me the opportunity to become more independent and enterprising.
After that I decided to move to Tokyo in order to become a work-awayer for three months (January-March 2018) and that was one of the most beautiful experience of my life thanks to all the international volunteers there that made that experience unforgettable.
I had the opportunity to visit Tokyo and at the same time I had the privilege to learn a lot about hospitality work. As a volunteer I had to clean the rooms, pick the customers up, help round the house and tidy the common areas up.
After being in Tokyo I decided to visit Seoul, South Korea, in April 2018 for two weeks and that was another amazing experience.
After these travel-experiences I decided to move to London where I have worked as a barista for different companies (Caffe Nero, Benugo, More Italy).
Living in London gave me the chance to improve my English by talking to different customers every day.
During my time in London I have learnt how to prepare coffee, steam the milk, prepare drinks, meals, serve the customers, ect.
Before coming back to Italy I decided to visit another Asian country: Taiwan. I have been in Taipei for one month and I have worked in a hostel where I had to clean the rooms, make beds and welcome the customers.
After 4 years I started volunteering again in Las Palmas, Spain as a helper in a guesthouse. The experience lasted 1 month and I had the chance to meet wonderful people from different parts of the world.
In July I decided to visit South-East Asia and I started volunteering as a social media manager in a hostel in Bangkok, Thailand.
Currently I am living in Italy and recently, after studying at LABA University for three years, I got my bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design .
I consider myself a multi-tasking person and I would like to step out of my confort zone by traveling and discovering new cultures.
I love working in a team and I am good in the problem-solving.
I am a social person and I like working in a team. I like being around new people and I don’t mind moving to different countries since I am very flexible.

Thank you Monica!
I was pleased with the accomodation, a stunning hostel (if you are looking for a clean accomodation this is the best one) with huge spaces (spacious rooms, toilets and common spaces).
The job is easy, you have to clean the rooms (you have to do the beds).
The hostel is in a very convenient area...you have… read more
