¡Hola! Me llamo Max, tengo 27 años y soy de Inglaterra.

Estoy viajando en Colombia durante 6 meses haciendo una mezcla de mochilero y el voluntario. Ya hice dos experiencias workaway aquí en Colombia, una trabajando en un hostal en Jericó y otra en una finca cerca de Filandia.

Estoy buscando oportunidades de workaway que me permiten mejorar el nivel de mi Español, encontrar la gente amable y interesante, y aprendir más de la cultura, cocina, flora y fauna de Colombia 🇨🇴.

Estudié la lengua Francesa y la política à la universidad de Manchester donde vivía durante 4 años. Así que hablar Frances también sería una ventaja.

En casa soy jardinero en Londres hace 3 años, me encanta trabajar con la naturaleza y me gustaría mucho ayudar en los espacios verdes durante mi estancia.

En el pasado he trabajado también como camarero y profesor de inglés.. tengo habilidades muy variadas y todavía estoy abierto a aprender algunas nuevas.

Soy sonriente y positivo, me gusta trabajar con otros y compartir historias. Mis pasiones incluyen la cocina, hacer y escuchar música, el alpinismo, hacer el senderismo y aprender las idiomas.

Hello, my name is Max, I'm 27 and I'm from the UK.

I'm travelling around Colombia for ~6 months backpacking whilst also volunteering. I've had two amazing workaway experiences here so far.. one helping at a Hostel in Jericó and another working on a Finca near Filandia.

I'm looking for workaway stays where I can practice my Spanish (getting there slowly 😁) and learn more about Colombian culture, people, food, flora, and fauna. I also speak French, so being able to use this would be a bonus.

I've been working as a gardener and landscaper in London for the past few years so putting these skills to use improving green spaces would be great too! 🧑‍🌾🌻

I'm a sociable person with a positive attitude.. my passions are learning languages, listening to and making music, cooking, hiking, and rock climbing.

Working as a gardener has given me many skills relating to working with nature. I'd feel confident helping out in any green spaces with plants, trees and vegetables too.

I love cooking and have experience working with food, therefore I can help out in the kitchen if the workaway has these facilities.

I've worked in lots of different hospitality and customer service jobs in the past. From doing these I've obtained great communication skills, lots of experience of working in a team, and a good knowledge of health and safety in working environments.

As well as English, I also speak fluent French as well as intermediate Spanish. I love practising other languages chatting to people.

I'm also not afraid to get my hands dirty and would help out with any cleaning jobs that needed going.
