Hello, I am Margaux, a 25-year-old from Belgium who just left her job in Brussels to travel solo for a few months, starting in New Zealand. I would describe myself as curious and adventurous. I am eager to discover new places with my eyes wide open. I am looking forward to taking part in cultural exchanges and meeting like-minded people.

I am a former girl scout (15 years of involvement) and I have grown up in the countryside which makes me conscious about the nature and the environment that surround us. I can be helpful in the garden, in the farm, or with any other tasks outside. I can also be helpful around the house: preparing dinner, cleaning, getting organised :) I really enjoy cooking, especially when it becomes an exchange between multiple cultures. I would love to learn new recipes as I am travelling.

Of course, I still have a lot to learn, but I am excited to discover new skills. I'd consider myself a quick learner and a good listener :)

My hobbies are sport, art, hiking and spending time with friends and family. I've played multiple sports: rugby, volleyball, paddle tennis, squash and gymnastics but I can be the most enthusiastic person when it comes to adding a new one to the list. I love evening conversations over a good meal or around a fire to share experiences and cultures. Finally, it's hard for me to get through a day without music, and I easily get excited when the conversation turns to architecture or the latest hike you'd recommend.
