Hey, I am Lu (18). I graduated high school this year. Right now I am taking a gap year before I start studying in october 2023. I want to see the world and explore the way other people live in different countries.

I‘m currently solo traveling around SE Asia. I would love to get to know other cultures, learn new things and meet cool people.

During time in high school I did two internships to get to know the respective proffessions better.
I was at the vet and helped caring for the animals. Caring for the pets and spending the whole day with them was a really nice experience I enjoyed a lot.
I love to spend time with ANIMALS and take care of them, especially HORSES. I do horse riding since 14 years. In my leisure I spend much time in the stables. Grooming, cleaning etc - I am not afraid to get my hands dirty.
I love to feel the connection between me and the animal and interact harmonious so easy just without words. It's an incredible feeling.

The second internship I did was in the hospital in surgery. MEDICINE is the most interesting profession of all to me. I am fascinated by the human body and how it works. That's why I am currently preparing for university already now.

But not just the human body, also looking after CHILDREN and generally doing social things I really like as well. At home I took care of my younger sister and cousin often and on Gili Trawangan (Lombok, Indonesisa) I helped with an organization for children. It was such a great time.

Furthermore I like to be active in the nature and doing a lot of SPORTS. I love gymnastics, kickboxing and home workouts, but I would like to get to know yoga, meditation or dancing better as well.

It feels good to help doing something great. What is your project I can help you with?

We loved having Luisa stay and work here at the vet clinic, and she was an absolute asset to the team. She takes on tasks with full consideration of her own skills, and problem-solves to get the job done. It was emotional saying goodbye, and we hope to see Lu again!
