Hey, we‘re Louisa and Thilda! We‘re a 20 years old couple of friends from Germany, who are backpacking through New Zealand for three months. We both grew up on the country and graduated just from highschool (Louisa 2022 and Thilda 2023).

Our motivation for travel with workaway is that we both want to get know the country, the culture and new nice people and their ways of life. We also both love animals, as we have cats, dogs, rabbits etc. at home and enjoy taking care of them.

We would like to travel through the different regions of the country to different places that we would not have discovered and travelled to otherwise.
So we want to travel New Zealand from Auckland to the South Island to Queenstown and in this way come back to Auckland in three months.
So our plan is to combine work and travel, for which we see Workaway as a great opportunity. Besides we want to improve our english by integrating the language in our every day life.

We would be very happy to have nice and loving hosts who we can support in any way we can. :)

Louisa:
After graduating from high school, I completed a voluntary social year at a primary school in Berlin (Germany). I really enjoyed working with children and supporting the teachers.
Apart from that I like to do sports and play football and handball in a club. I also play the piano and like to cook and bake.
In Germany, I live with my sister, my mother and my eleven animals(cats,rabbits, dog and chickens) in a farmhouse.



Thilda:
I’m 20 years old and live together with my mum, my sister and our two dogs in a small german village. Besides travel my passions are sports like bouldering, riding horses and surfing, also music very important to me. I like to play guitar, piano and singing. I taught children in it the last years. Especially I love to work with animals and hope that through Workaway I will have the opportunity to spend a lot of time with them (I miss my dogs and my horse very much!).

Hey, we‘re Thilda and Louisa! Two twenty years old backpackers from Germany. We just started traveling around New Zealand and are looking for opportunities to get to know the country, culture and people in best possible way and see Workaway as the perfect way to do it. In between we want to camp with our tent to experience the incredible natur close by and generally like outdoor things to do since we were young :)

We both grew up on the country with a lot of animals like dogs, rabbits, cats, horses and chickens. We love to work and taking care of them. Also we like helping in the house and garden or looking after children.

Thilda:
I live together with my mum, my sister and our two dogs in a small german village. I love to do sports like bouldering, surfing, horse riding and dog agility, also music is very important to me. I like playing guitar, piano and singing. The last years I taught children to play these instruments which I enjoyed very much. I would love to work with animals, because I miss mine very much.
