Hello, hello!
I'm a university student just finishing up a degree in mechanical engineering with a concentration in energy and sustainability. I have a true passion for improving global warming, and I'm very interested at approaching the interdisciplinary methods of tackling issues around sustainability.
My other main joys in life center around art and community. I love to make art, especially installation art (frequently masks, multimedia projects using whatever I can find, etc.) as well as a bit of painting and small crafts.
I will sometimes cross my different interests and find the connections between my art and environmentalism, and other times I make art just for the joy of creating.
I really enjoy connecting with people, and I aim to create and find welcoming communities built around acceptance and appreciation.

I'm almost done with my studies in mechanical engineering. My studies have incorporated skills like shop training (lathe, miter saw, laser cutter, drill press, jointer, etc.). As well as more conceptual topics on energy systems, geo-engineering, etc. I have experience in classroom-level Mandarin Chinese.
On my more artistic side, I'm good at resourcefulness and making use of the materials I have.
I'm good with animals and pets (especially cats! I have two kitties of my own). I'm very organized and clean, and I'm used to sharing communal spaces and items.
