Hello there, my name is Juliette, I am a recent high school graduate in the state of Florida in the United States and the next step for me in life is a gap year. It is still unclear for me in terms of what subject I want to study in college, so I am engaging in a gap year to open myself up to different cultures and opportunities that a lot of work-away host can provide. My ultimate goal is to have fun, and learn the beautiful language of Spanish. I hope I will find my path through many hosts on this website.

My family is originally from Belgium and I visit every summer, so I became fluent in French. I spent my entire childhood education in English, so all of my schooling was done in english. It time for a new language, and that is Spanish, I love the language and it is so useful for traveling so I hope to pursue the learning to become fluent one day.

I've worked on horse ranches, regular crop farming, painting walls, renovating houses, I have worked with animals before, I love kids, super big animal lover, I don't mind working alone or in big groups, I like to be in a team but it does not bother me to work alone either, I can be very independent if that is needed as well, I can work flexible hours, routines are not big for me but if that is needed that is completely fine. Most importantly, I love learning, if I don't have a skill, I love learning about it and then practicing so I can be as helpful as possible. I am a quick learner as well.
