Description

We are a gay couple that met when we were travelling. Both of us have lived and worked far away from our home countries and we are both in love with getting to know new places, plunging into a new culture, language or work environment. Living abroad gave us a more open view on how the world works and how we can adapt to different situations and environments.
My name is Valentin. I am Austrian, but have lived in Portugal and Brazil among other places. I speak German, English, Portuguese and Spanish fluently and a little bit of French, Italian, Sign Language and Turkish. Professionally I'm a language teacher and translator, but I have worked in different fields throughout my life, from practical training at a construction material company to social work at a home for people with disability. Languages, music and dancing are my passions, but I also love to be in the nature and to learn about sustainability and any type of work where I can get my hands dirty. I am looking forward to exchanging knowledge and getting to know other people's ways of living!
My name is Fausto, Brazillian, and also I have lived in different countries, such as Ireland and Portugal. I speak Portuguese, Spanish, English and bit of French and German (studying both languages currently). I love to study and to be immersed in different cultures, environments, as I also have worked in different areas: as a journalist, waiter, minder, night porter, entertainer, actor, cleaner and writer (I have a blog where I share the most resembling stories of my travels, I´m a digital nomad). I have a high interest in exchanging knowledge, being connected to the nature, enhancing language skills and engaging in different activities.

Valentin plays in a Maracatu group (Brazilian drum music) and dances intensively in a contemporary dance group.
Fausto likes to dance to. He learned how to dance traditional Brazilian dances from his region. Also he loves creative writing, poetry, design and entertaining.
