  • Description

Passionate explorers seeking unique experiences and meaningful connections. Embracing every opportunity to learn from diverse cultures and create lasting memories. Thrilled by the beauty of the world and the joy of connecting with like-minded souls.

We love eco-villages, permaculture and DIY projects of various kinds. One of our dreams is to build an eco-village ourselves, but to do that we need lots of practical experience and knowledge first.
Another goal that we have while traveling Central and South America is to learn Spanish.

About Vitas - "I generally enjoy activities that involve DYI construction projects where I get to work in a team alongside other competent people.
This summer I took part in building and creating two festivals.
I was involved in building the kitchen, building shelters, building bathrooms, building cafes and decorations for the main stage. I also took part in building a clay and straw bale house which I really enjoyed.
I also took part in working at the kitchen with various cooking tasks.
On another note, I'm a certified yoga teacher (Hatha yoga) and a long time practitioner of meditation (vipassana), whenever there is an opportunity I do enjoy to teach yoga and meditation to others."

About Élaé - "I'm actively involved in various community programs in Paris and Berlin, focusing on rehousing, meal distribution, awareness campaigns, blood donations, environmental protection, hunger relief races, and more.
Professionally, I am a Naturopath, Ayurvedic masseuse, and yoga teacher. My passion for well-being extends to gardening, a hobby that brings me immense joy and a sense of connection to the natural world. I'm also passionate about scuba diving, which allows me to explore the beauty and mysteries of the underwater world. I also love cooking.

Through my volunteer experiences, I've had the privilege to contribute to meaningful change in diverse communities. One of my most impactful journeys took me to a Women's Education Program center in Tanzania for 2 months.
Tanzania grapples with persistent gender inequality, leaving many women facing daily hardships. The shadows of domestic violence, homelessness, and the looming threat of HIV/AIDS cast a somber reality. These challenges, unfortunately, bring with them societal stigma that often deepens the struggles women face. It's within this landscape that volunteers like me strive to create a brighter future. During my time as a Women's Education volunteer, I collaborated with a local NGO deeply committed to empowering women. The focus was on imparting essential skills for health and financial independence.
My role encompassed a range of activities aimed at fostering growth and self-sufficiency among these women:
    - Guiding English and business classes, opening doors to new horizons.
    - Distributing menstrual pads, addressing a crucial aspect of women's well-being.
    - Participating in projects offering a sustainable income source.
    - Assisting women in securing funding for their entrepreneurial endeavors.
    - Teaching fundamental culinary skills, nurturing both autonomy and confidence.
    - Providing essential childcare support, allowing women to pursue their aspirations.
In this journey of service, I not only shared my skills but also learned from these resilient women, witnessing their determination to overcome adversity. Together, we wove a tapestry of empowerment, resilience, and hope. My experience as a volunteer reaffirmed my belief in the transformative power of compassion and collaboration.

My volunteer journey has taken me through the culturally rich landscapes of the Philippines and Cambodia, where I've had the privilege to contribute to education and the well-being of young minds.
In the Philippines, I had the inspiring opportunity to teach in a local school. I worked hand in hand with local educators to provide enriching education to students. Every moment spent in the classroom became a cultural exchange, where I learned as much as I taught.
In Cambodia, my path led me to another dimension of volunteering – that of supporting childhood. Childcare became my way of contributing to the lives of young minds in their formative years. By offering a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment, I witnessed smiles lighting up the faces of children. Their curiosity and joy served as a reminder of the boundless wonder that comes with early growth and exploration. My experiences in both countries have left an indelible mark on me, underscoring the universal value of education and care for the next generation."
