Hello! My name is Claire, I'm a 24 year old enthusiastic mountain lover from Southern California.

I am currently living out my "quarter life crisis" - I quit my tech sales job in Santa Monica, CA and moved to the small mountain town of Mammoth Lakes, CA to work as a certified ski instructor. I am a people person who loves to be active and use my hands/body in my every day work - I am so grateful to be outside every day as a skier. I have met such incredible humans from all over the world working in the seasonal outdoor industry who have inspired me to get back to traveling and experiencing more!

My ultimate goal in life is to become a commercial airline pilot and live on a farm... I am working towards my Private Pilot License now.. but before settling in, I want to see more of the world and new ways of living. Being here in the mountains during the 2nd (maybe we'll hit the biggest) snow season yet, has reconnected me to nature and living according to the seasons. I would love to continue this lifestyle and connect even further to nature - learn how to farm, care for cattle, build houses, etc.

I am looking to travel solo for the first time ever to push myself out of my comfort zone and learn more.

I earned my Business Degree from the University of Southern California in 2020 (spent a year in Switzerland at Franklin University Switzerland from 16'-'17) and then went on to work in the tech industry as a sales professional for 2 years.

I am a certified ski instructor through PSIA (Professional Ski Instructors of America) and am working towards my ACE Group Fitness Certification.

I have experience working with all different age groups (3-4 year olds up to adults) as a ski instructor and tailoring each lesson according to each individual's learning style and preference, giving presentations to groups and professionals as well as planning and hosting events from my tech sales days, babysitting children, hiking and backpacking, and basic garden work (raking, picking apples, weeding, shoveling).

English is my first language and I can drive a car.

I am eager to improve my skills in any area!
