Description
Moved by curiosity, I’m a student whose eagerness for new experiences is so big that I ended up in a city in the middle of the Czech Republic where I’m doing an exchange program for a year. Born and raised Brazilian, I study International Relations in Foz do Iguaçu, a multicultural city and land of the Iguazu Falls, Way longer before starting studying International Relations I was already attracted to the international and to different cultures, as I grew up this feeling just evolved.
I love learning new things, meeting new people and getting to know new places so this time in Europe has been amazing and has provided a big expansion of my horizons, something that I’m always seeking and that's why I’m here. I’m traveling and living the dream of my life, having the opportunity to do all these incredible things that bring me happiness and turn me into a better version of myself so I want to make the most out of it.Languages

One of the main reasons for me to join Workaway is to have a stay in a Freanch-speaking country in order to learn French because I studied it for some months but then I stopped when I moved to Czechia.Skills and knowledge I'd like to share or learn

Throughout the last years I've been involved in several volunteerings mainly academic and social related ones. I was part of the Interact Club of my city for four years and of the Rotaract Club for some months. During that time I was part of many projects for helping the community from the planning to the executions. Such actions were fundraisings, events, parties, getting donations, painting, gardening, promoting leisure and recreational activities for children and elderly people, etc. In the university, sometimes with scholarship, I had activities with teaching assistance, research, extension projects and I’m part of a journal’s editorial committee and member of ESN Hradec Králové. All these experiences gave me a big sense of responsibility and enhanced skills like adaptability, interpersonal and communications skills, empathy, problem-solving and Microsoft Office.
And what may be the most valuable for Workaway is my living with my family. I grew up in the countryside and lived there for nearly two decades and I started to help my parents at an early age. My parents are farmers so I would help and be responsible for part of the work taking care of the animals, milking the cows, gardening and planting, cleaning the house and others. Also my father sometimes would work as a bricklayer so he would build buildings and make renovations and repairs and I would help him so I have experience with construction and renovation from layering tiles to electrical installations. I’m not really good at it but I can do it hahaha.Age
