Hello!
My name is Sofia. I finished Highschool in June 2020.
Since then, I have volunteered on a horse Ranch in New York State and on a wineyard + natural horsemanship training center in Tuscany/ Italy.
After one year of volunteering, I studied equine behavior and welfare in England for a year and right now Im finishing a Veterinary Paramedic course, specialized in equines at the Domecq school in Texcoco/Mexico which ends in June this year.

Before I start studying veterinary medicine in September 2023 in Spain, I would love to volunteer again and cooperate in some interesting programs like working on a horse ranch, in wildlife rescue or in animal care projects.

I am German, but have been living in Mexico for almost my entire life. During my whole childhood animals have always been very important to me. Most the animals we had were rescued by my family.
If you haven’t noticed already, I’m a passionate rider ;) since I was 10 years old and had my own horse, Revel. Although I lived in the outskirts of Mexico City, I always sought to be in nature and would love to gain some more practical experience. I am a very uncomplicated, open minded and adaptable person and I am happy to get to know you soon!

I am an uncomplicated, open minded and adaptable person and when I have decided to start something (like joining you ;-)) I am normanlly a 100% in and persistant. I am also a very curious person that likes to learn new things and easy to going along with. So, beside my passion for animals, especially horses, I love all kind of watersports. I also like music, cycling, painting or handycrafts, but my absolute passion are horses and horse riding.
As I already have some experience in caring for animals I think that I could make a valuable contribution to your team or family.
