Hello Workawayer! My name is Paolo and I am a 28 year old Italian boy with a great desire to learn and discover new things every day!

I recently signed up to Workaway and I'm excited about the idea of learning about new cultures and making friends all over the world! My first step into this world would be to get to know places and people with whom I can improve my English, through a cultural and linguistic exchange. I am a native Italian speaker, I have a basic level of English and I know a few words of French!

I am passionate about technology and IT and can help you become more "digital friendly", I am also interested in the world of finance, and I can offer support in choices regarding investments and personal finance. In my free time I explore these topics while sipping good tea and listening to good music.

With a diverse background, I spent time in hair salons and pet shops, fully immersing myself in animal care and the art of making people even more beautiful. I learned the art of sales and customer service, ensuring that each customer left the store with a smile and the knowledge that they received exceptional service. I also took care of maintenance and cleaning.

My passion for animals also extends at home, where I live with a cheerful group of inseparables who always make my living space lively and joyful. The freedom I give them to fly freely around the house is a source of constant joy and a fantastic experience.

My flexibility and ability to adapt to different contexts are a distinctive element that I carry with me.

What else ...

I live in a small town in Italy, I have agricultural land where I grow various vegetables such as tomatoes, aubergines, pumpkins and courgettes. I also have a small chicken coop from which I get fresh, zero-mile eggs every day!

I traveled both in company and alone, visiting beautiful cities in Italy, but also abroad in Switzerland, the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Malta, Spain, Greece, Tunisia. I would like to visit Ireland or the UK.

I have a master's degree in Management Engineering, my main job. However, I decided to take a gap year to improve my English and take an online university course.

In my free time I dedicate myself to various maintenance jobs, both on the land and at home or in the garage (I'm also passionate about engines!) and I also take care of the maintenance of the family's vehicles.

I am available to carry out various types of jobs while I follow the university course online. It won't take too much time, around 10 hours Friday and Saturday, manageable with some flexibility.
