Hey,
I look forward to getting to know you! My name is Mazaruni, but most people call me Mazi. Anyways, here are a few things I thought you might like to know :)

I am currently on a gap year, I have so far travelled to India and then I came to back to Kenya, and volunteered.

I start college in September and would like to study development or humanitarian studies.
I really like meeting people and seeing new places.
And I like helping where I can.

I have interned at the Navdanya Biodiversity Farm in Uttarakhand for 2 months where I participated in a 1 month course on organic farming and agroecology.

I am interested in improving access to education and thus volunteered at LHA charitable trust in Dharmashala.
I have also participated in various clubs such as HeArts - a programme that provided education in art and music to Kindergarten children. Further, I volunteered at a feeding home in my home country, Kenya.

I am also an artist and can draw, paint, play the guitar and sing.

Loved my time at Milman Iattract Academy. I was there for 2 weeks and hope to be back as soon as possible! Mama Jane, victor's mother, is very warm and kind (also a great cook) and Victor really helped too.

I stayed for 1 week at Tara's place and really enjoyed my time here. There were 4 other volunteers. Our daily activities were farming for 3 hours in the morning before it got hot, and then we had the day to ourself. Sometimes we would go to the town or cook in the kitchen. I loved making chapatis with the other volunteers!

I really enjoyed my time at the eco farm. Bishnu is a very kind person. One day, we went to the village and played games with the kids there.

There is also a guitar. The other volunteers and I enjoyed spending time here.
