Description
My name is Margon, I was born in the Netherlands and I grew up on a dairy farm. I have studied Tropical agriculture rural development. After my studies I did a world trip of 8 months. When I returned back to the Netherlands I found a job in an office and worked there for more than 10 years. I always felt that that job wasn’t suitable for me. I need freedom and adventure.
I quit my job in 2017 and became an Art and English teacher in China.
Now I am looking for a place closer to nature. I want to go back to my roots, which is farming and I want to be surrounded with nature, forests or the ocean.
I like meeting new people.
I am a creative person and I love to make things out of trash (upcycle/recycle) and I am handy with tools. I did a tattoo course in China and I am very grateful for all the people I have met, who I could give a tattoo to practice my tattoo skills. I love being outside. I am eager to learn new skills.

I have many skills, I am creative, I like to draw and I am handy with tools, I have renovated a part of my house in the Netherlands (plastering the walls, changing electricity). I have many skills in farming (weeding, harvesting, milking cows and goats).

Okasan and Otousan are the nicest and lovable people I have met. I had an amazing time at their farm. I had to wake up early to get the cows out of the field, which was challenging sometimes, because it was pitch dark. I had a great time in Dulan. Only 4 hours of work in the morning and then a dip in the ocean.

They gave me a scooter to drive back and forth from the apartment to the café and I could even use the scooter to explore the environment. From Taitung to Lisong hot springs, the scooter brought me everywhere.
