My name is Lucile and I am 21 years old. I was born and raised in the UK but as of this year I have taken the leap to spend a year abroad in Ontario, Canada as part of my studies. Having spent nearly 8 months now indulging in uni life, I wish to expand my wisdom and take the rest of my time off for some well-deserved travelling and expansion of cultural experiences. Whilst what I have in mind includes backpacking across Central America, I also hope to spend pockets of this helping workawayers. I really aim to just lap up all the experiences I can, whether that be good or bad, easy work or hard work, I don't mind. I have a passionate for the environment, it is what I have been studying at university and what I truly care about. I therefore would love to get involved in some sustainability projects and have a strong connection to the outdoors and nature. Coming from London in the UK, I have always longed for a different way of life for a short while and this is where workaway fits right in. Becoming that burst from the bubble I have been searching for on my year abroad. I have also recently begun a soul caring journey through meditation and mindfulness so it would be super cool to encounter some like-minded people during my workaways. I come determined and passionate to get stuck in with whatever is thrown my way.

My skills lie around my interests. I am a keen environmental advocate so I love getting involved with anything in nature, I really don't mind getting dirty if that is what the tasks asks of. My gardening skills need building on, only growing up helping my mum in the garden on weekends, but I am keen to gain more skills here as I find it particularly therapeutic working in a garden and therefore will give all my effort.

I am also a budding artist who pays particular interest to detail. Only as a hobby from time to time but in cases like workaway's it is probably an added benefit to have for any arty tasks, but also the attention to precision and neatness that this brings. I am a creative and hard-working person.
