My name is Lieke, I am 24 years old and live in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. People tell me i am a very social person who meets new people easily. I am caring and adventurous.

I worked in Austria 4 years ago as a ski instructor. The experience of working, especially with kids, and diving into new cultures is something i want to do more often. After that I started my degree in behavior and education for young children (0-12 years) in the Netherlands. My goals are to gain experience and inspiration for the work field in a different environment. I want to share my knowledge, passion and energy for the purpose of the project.

I was looking for a country with a beautiful nature and an interesting culture where I think I can help to improve the living situation. Tanzania got my attention for a project.

My expertise is teaching young children. I have work experience at a primary school and daycare. I am creative in making teaching and learning more pleasant for children through play. I can look at the development needs of a child and make goals or plans based on that.
I was taught English from an early age at home and school.
I really love doing team sports. I played in a soccer team for 10 years.
