Description
Hallo zusammen,
for the past 15 years I was a teacher for primary and secondary schools in Germany. I mostly taught English, German, sports and art. Teaching in inclusive settings was always what I enjoyed most! Now I'm taking a bit of a time-out to visit New Zealand (November - January).
I've travelled quite a lot throughout Europe (mostly camping or backpacking) and am looking forward to seeing New Zealand's beautiful nature and wonderful people.
Apart from the first week in Auckland I didn't make a lot of plans, just want to go where this trip takes me.
I love working in my garden, sports (volleyball, skiing + kayaking), being active in nature, baking, all kinds of music, getting to know people and new things. I've got a hands- on approach to life and am eager to learn new things as well as pass on whatever I can ;)

Lena was very easy to host, communicative, respectful and a hard worker. She did an amazing job of weeding our flower gardens, she dug out our chook run to make compost and spread wood shavings for a new floor. Together we shifted and stacked 4 cubic metres of firewood ready for winter.

Lovely Shushila took me in when I needed a last-minute place to stay... and I had a great time!
The house and land are so special and beautiful, just as it's owner! Greatest view of the ocean you could imagine!
