Hi there. My name’s Joe, I’m travelling around at the moment and would love to experience real life in some different places, as well as different ways of life in work, being more self-sufficient and stepping away from my normal experiences. I’m motivated by trying to do things well and helping others, and would really like to learn more manual skills and just experience other things. I love exploring new places, especially places of natural beauty, taking in the surroundings. I’ve been doing this mainly through hiking, though I’m not massively experienced - something I would like to do more of - and photography as well. I like being with people, but also really enjoy heading off by myself.

I don’t have a lot of experience with manual jobs, though I did work in Design and Technology department at a school for the last 2 years as classroom assistant. I’m pretty capable with computers, previously worked a bit in finance and warehousing, so a bit varied. I’m roughly 6ft and fit and well, so would be able to do physical jobs. I think I’m able to pick up things quite quickly, though will ask questions in the first instances to make sure I understand things.
