Description

I am an 18 year old traveller on a gap year between High School and further education. I am currently travelling and living in a caravan with my parents, who are also Workawayers and are linked on my profile. We come as a package deal, at least for the moment. I enjoy travelling and having new experiences, doing art and creating things, and fantasy books and films. I can be very shy at first but once I get going I like conversation. I grew up overseas, at an international school in Kenya, where my parents taught. I have also spent a year travelling Australia in 2014 and am excited to do it again. I am currently a freelance artist online, and create art-based YouTube videos. I am also starting up a temporary business to paint and sell upcycled t-shirts and beanbag frogs.

I was involved in set design and prop making for several years, and have experience with large-scale and detail painting. I can sand, varnish, and sew, although amateurly. I'm good at thinking outside the box. I can do art in many mediums, including paint, clay, digital, textile, and pencil, at various skill levels. I can sort and organize things when given parameters. I can also cook and bake. I'm not very strong but am working on building strength so might be able to do some manual labour at my level. I am willing to learn other skills.

What else ...

I am most interested in volunteering at locations where we can park our very large caravan and connect it to water and electricity. Because of my strict dietary needs I would prefer to handle all my own food and cook for myself, rather than expecting you to cater for me. I am travelling with my parents and all three of us would like to work together. Because of my online work I can only stay in areas with phone and data coverage. If you offer it, I'd love to connect to Wi-Fi.
