  • Description

    Hello, world!

We are Izzy and Hugh a couple from Bristol, UK.

Having just graduated from our Geography degrees, we are excited to practice what we have learnt while travelling.
Both of us have worked in hospitality for almost 10 years so have lots of experience around people.
We are both highly motivated by improving the environment and getting closer to nature. We are extremely passionate about meeting new people and experiencing people's ways of life to broader our social awareness.
The aspect of the community strongly motivates us we believe people working together can bring positive change to people and the planet.
We pride ourselves on being happy people and enjoying the little things in life.
What brings us the most happiness is being together in nature and socialising with family and friends.

  • More details about your skills

As a team, we have a range of skills!
We both studied geography at university and that has given us a lot of knowledge of the living environment.

    Izzy:
I specialise in animals and their ecosystems. I have knowledge of how to protect and build homes for animals, especially amphibians. I focused my studying on conservation, this has given me first-hand practice with being out in the field and building protection for our local wildlife.
When I was younger I lived on a canal boat in London with my father. This meant all hands on deck when it came to repairing and painting the boat. I love DIY and the problem-solving side of it. I like getting stuck in and creating or fixing anything.
In my spare time, I work in our local community garden helping to maintain it.
I also babysit for two families. I have a passion for children and helping them learn in any way I can.

    Hugh:
Growing up in Cornwall, UK I worked as a kayaking tour guide, this allowed me to develop my people skills alongside working in nature and understanding the challenges this brings.
I also developed maintenance skills (building a greenhouse, layering a pond, mowing the grounds, spreading gravel) by helping with the construction of a local eco-lodge and volunteering at the local community garden whilst at university.
Growing up I would help out at the local farm, feeding the animals, washing down the parlour and doing weeding in local fields.
