Hello, I'm Filipa, a curious 32y explorer who was born in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, on an island in the Azores (Portugal).

For the last 8 years I worked in one of the largest Portuguese companies as a Learning & Development business partner. Now, I've decided to take a sabbatical to reconnect with myself, with people and the world.

I feel alive when traveling, meeting people and being in nature (hiking, camping, bonfires, stars, the sea, animals, etc.). And I couldn't live without dance, art (ceramics, painting, etc.) and meditation. As a psychologist, I'm passionate about everything that helps us grow and self-develop in an integrated and holistic way.

Since college, I have been involved in summer jobs and volunteering projetcs related to education and children, housing poverty/home rehabilitation, and supporting the homeless. Also, I have a profound respect for nature and animals, which makes the sustainability cause very important to me (e.g., plastic consumption, zero waste/minimalism, etc.).

As I worked in the corporate world, I have several skills related to strategy, management, organization and customer service. During all these years I organized learning experiences from creation to delivery.

My background is in psychology and during my experience in the corporate world I was responsible for training programs related with well-being (yoga, meditation, breathing, self-knowledge tools, art therapy, etc.) and diversity and inclusion.

I'm curious and I train my mindset to be more and more flexible, minimalist and focused on what truly matters and this leads me to a creative, positive and focused problem solving approach.
