Hello Workaway hosts! :) I am having a sabbatical, and looking for work and language exchange opportunities. I work in the environment sector, in ecology and conservation, sustainability and climate change action. Before continuing my career, I am taking time to pursue projects and wider interests that are important to me personally.

I recently returned to Europe from Indonesia where I was volunteering in marine conservation while doing my scuba dive master and becoming an instructor. I am currently in Vienna, visiting relatives while learning German.

I am a sociable and friendly person who loves to learn about the world through those around me. Personally, I try to live a well-balanced life and maintain a healthy mind and body. I love reading, travelling, going to the theatre, concerts and galleries. I run, rock climb, play football, do yoga, and scuba dive (I am a PADI instructor). I enjoy acting, play bass guitar, and listen to a wide variety of music.

I am an environmental professional who has worked in consulting, policy, research, and management roles in conservation, sustainability and climate change action. As such I can help with the technical side of environmental projects you are pursuing! :)

My education and career have also given me great analytical and organisational skills for any business, administration and management help you might need.

Alongside these skills, I have a lot of customer/client service experience (in environment sector and hospitality), and I am a friendly, sociable and responsible person, so I will be able to confidently help with people-orientated roles!

I am active and fit, and have proven on previous work exchanges that I am capable of general manual labour and work outdoors. This included while I was in France, helping on a permaculture project and assisting with renovation work at a hostel. I also did a work exchange in Canada helping with campus maintenance and environmental management at a school in a forest.
