Hello!
we are Daniel & Julia, a couple from Essen.
We are looking forward to go to Canada in 2023 and to meet lots of new people!
Both of us love to travel and we have been to several destinations like Columbia, Egypt, Thailand and some other places over the last years. We like to go hiking and having adventures outdoors like canyoning, canoeing, rafting and especially diving, even if Canada is not the top destination for that! :D
We will travel around Canada by car and hope to do some farm work during the year. The reason for that is simple. My (Daniel) parents have a small horse breeding and I am used to physical work and always enjoyed that, especially because I am working in an office job nowadays. I also used to work in pest control, maintenance and as a football coach for kids during my vacations. In the last years I also worked in sales and as a fitness coach, so if you have tourists at your farm, I would love to help them and to give them a good feeling for their holiday stay.
I (Julia) am looking forward to my next big adventure. I've already been to Australia, New Zealand, Japan and Thailand and every country
has its beauties. I love to meet new people and get to know the different cultures and lifestyles. I enjoy being outdoors. Thats why I did a lot of fruit picking and general maintenance work on different farms in Australia. I also worked in hospitality and have experience in working with kids. In my home country I worked as a coach in gymnastics for kids and later on established a training programm for seniors to help them stay fit and healthy. So similiar to my boyfried I am open-minded for physical work, but also for jobs with tourists. I just love to help and cookies, of course! :)

On the one hand, i am used to do tough jobs. In Germany I worked at the farm of my uncle and made summer jobs in green keeping and pest control. On the other hand, i am not used to build something or repair something and have no craft training. So I am a very good helper for someone who is good in those things. :)
I also studied economics and business psychology, but I fear that this won´t be a big help on the farm. :D
My english skills are on level B2 and I am constantly working on them.

I love every types of sports like football, squash, boxing, diving and many others. I am also very interested in meditation and the new studies of positive psychology. :)
