Hello! I'm Brooks from Calgary, Canada. I'm a fun, laid-back guy who would love to see more of the world. I love photography, I love to read, and I love to experience new ways of living.

I'm new to Workaway, but I've spent some time living with homestays in Canada. I'm not one for hotels or resorts, I enjoy all the good and the challenges that come with an authentic stay in a foreign country.

I have a Bachelor's Degree in Linguistics from my hometown university, the University of Calgary. I've done a little work in speech therapy and I have some experience teaching English.

I also have experience working with my hands. I attended a cabinetmaking course here in Calgary and I'm currently working as a carpenter. I know how to use all the power tools, I can put together a door, etc etc.
