Hi there!
We are Amber-Rose and Lachie, two Australians in our early 20s living, studying and travelling in Europe.
Amber-Rose loves to read, cook, write and dance. Studying creative writing at university, working as a disability support worker and always making time to get to the beach or creek for a picnic and a swim.
Lachie loves to read, surf and make music. Has finished his acting studies, works at a record warehouse and plays in a band, he always makes time to write.
Lachie and I are motivated to learn, live an active, healthy and creative lifestyle with focus on shopping for local produce and creating a good community wherever we are. Both of us have grown up near Byron Bay in Australia, a small town with a large focus on health and well-being and have taken these learnings into our adult life.
We are excited to find workaways as a way of being a part of a community and visiting new places. We are looking forward to time working outside, on gardens and property, with animals and meeting new people along the way.

Lachie and I are hardworkers with lots of energy. We are happy, kind and calm and work well both independently and together. We have participated in volunteer work before, especially tree planting, gardening work, food preparation, painting.
Amber-Rose: Cooking, general gardening, treeplanting, volunteered in an animal shelter for a year (walking, feeding, washing, grooming and training dogs), worked as unskilled labourer for 6 months, working with children, house painting, general cleaning.
Lachie: General handiwork/labour, mowing, outdoor maintenance, cooking, clearing plantation, weeding, house painting, extensive hospitality experience and musician.

What else ...
Lachie and I have a tradition of driving up the coast of Australia at Christmas time, camping along the way to volunteer at a music festival called Woodford. We take the time to visit friends, make music together, cook, swim, play and dance together. Our favourite board games are backgammon (which we always carry), twister and cards. We are so excited for this experience!
