Hi, my name is Alessia and I’m from a small town in Northern Italy on the border with Switzerland. I am a nursing student in my second year. I chose to register on this platform because this summer I would like to have a new experience, meet new people and cultures. I consider myself a person full of life and energy. In my free time I love to be with people, go dancing, play volleyball and be with my 9-year-old brother, he has Down syndrome and is a real force of nature. In life, I am a volunteer rescuer for Italian Red Cross and I do various activities in social work. I have worked as a bartender and waitress in past summers. Until a few years ago I was doing volunteer work in the oratory. In my spare time I love to be with people, go dancing, play volleyball and be with my little brother who is 9 years old, he has Down syndrome and is a real force of nature.
