Beschreibung

We are a Canadian couple who met in the beautiful mountain town of Lake Louise, Alberta. We have a shared love of the outdoors and traveling which have brought us to workaways in Mexico, Guatemala, and Panama. In Canada, our background was primarily in hospitality/building maintenance as we helped run a large hostel. We believe we would be capable and competent at any task that was presented as we take on new opportunities with curiosity and enthusiasm.

Although we have lived in the mountains for many years, we love jungle environments (especially when that jungle meets beach). We have spent significant time over the years volunteering in the Bolivian jungle with an organization called CIWY. This organization works to protect Bolivia's wildlife from the illegal animal trade, circuses, and as pets. We worked hands on with monkeys, ocelots, pumas, and jaguars.

We are traveling through South East Asia for the foreseeable future and are eager to find places that feel like a home, getting to know a community, and experience some unique opportunities! If we find a place that is a good match, we prefer to stay a little longer and really get to know the area.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

In Canada we helped manage a large hostel, hosting backpackers, groups, and events. Between us we have years of experience in every aspect of running and maintaining a hostel. I have ample experience working the front desk, housekeeping, running events, and years of bar/restaurant work. I am by no means a professional, but have an eye for photography and have been dabbling in videography. You can check out some of my work on instagram, @meaganmaxwellwolf. Andrew is a jack of all trades, doing everything from front desk, housekeeping, security, kitchen work, and general property maintenance! He was the maintenance manager of a large hostel in Banff National Park and has basic knowledge of woodworking, plumbing, electrical, painting, and tile work. We both have experience with domestic and wild animals.
