Beschreibung

We are both from the South West England, specifically Somerset and Stroud. We met at university in Falmouth, Cornwall and live in a van together in Bristol. We are both creative people and hard workers.

Phoebe :
I am a freelance Artist, set painter from Stroud, Gloucestershire. Interests include mural painting, traditonal sign painting, gardening and growing food, caring for animals, cooking and eco construction.

Will :
I am an Artist and Brewer from south west England, keen interest in painting, building, woodwork, growing and all things brewing/fermentation.

Our dream is to start our own biodynamic vineyard aligning principles of permaculture alongside that potentially wholesome and creative, communal lifestyle on the farm!

We love to cook, we are hard working and are always open to new experiences and community.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Phoebe - After studying Art at college and university I have worked in creative jobs such as set building, scenic painting and traditional sign writing. This has helped expand my practical skills and knowledge of materials, and allowed me to work large scale on exciting projects.

I used to have an allotment where I enjoyed growing fruit and vegetables. It was an amazing feeling to make a meal out of the produce grown on the plot.
Both Will and I are inspired by natural building, and working with the land in a sustainable way. We learnt how to build a cob oven using straw, sand and mud while volunteering with a permaculture group at Glastonbury festival, and is something we would love to learn more about.

Will -
My working life began at 14 in kitchens and on building sites, it taught me discipline and a love of the graft and juggling tasks. I have worked many jobs but my career now is focused on breweries, cider and winemaking, and learning how to grow the raw materials involved and see the process from end to end.
I converted my own van which is probably the most useful thing I have ever done; i learned basic woodwork, 12V electrics and solar systems, plummed my own water system and brought an envisioned space to life.
I studied Graphic Design at university where I grew my skills as an artist digitally and drawing, also learned a lot about branding.
I love to cook and am handy with tools.
