I want to visit Rishikesh, Dharamsala and Workaway in a community.

Beschreibung

Hi, my name is Elsa 👋
I live in Tasmania, Australia and have spent most of my life here. There are beautiful mountains, oceans, rivers and old growth forests full of diverse species (some endangered).

I have been fortunate enough to grow up on a large piece of forested acreage in the south of Tasmania. Here I went to a Waldorf school and learned to care for the land, grow vegetables, fix some things when broken, help with building and to value a peaceful life close to nature.

During my childhood we would often have WOOFERS from around the world stay with us which was an experience I thoroughly enjoyed. I have many good memories with these people who visited! A seed was planted for me to one day go and workaway in other parts of the world and continue learning about different culture through sharing and working.

I have for some years worked in a busy marketing role, running social media, doing product photography and helping manage projects. For this I am grateful as it has given me valuable lessons and also allowed me to fund my studies in a 200hr Yoga Teacher Training and a diploma of Art Therapy.

Now the time has come for me to follow the call to adventure to work in some other places around the world. I hope to learn about other lifestyles, help people achieve their projects and make some special memories.
