I started my travels in March 2025 and I'm seeking unique experiences and to see the world! :)
Beschreibung
Hi There! My name is Wessel and I'm currently travelling. Since this March 2025 I will go on the biggest trip of my life, solo! I have travelled on my own to a couple other country's, but this is going to be new because I am going to quit my job and have booked a one-way ticket. I do not have a return date, I really want to see the world, all of it! :)
I would describe myself as adventurous, curious, and flexible. I like to explore new places and cultures, learn new things, and try new experiences. I am not the person who follows a strict itinerary or plan everything in advance. I prefer to go with the flow and see where the journey takes me. I enjoy meeting new people and making friends along the way. I also like to challenge myself and step out of my comfort zone. I'm also into sports and workout almost every day. I think traveling is a great way to grow and discover more about myself and the world. I am social, really easy to be around en like to think about myself as someone with a genuine heart and emphaty. Looking forward to meet you along the way! :)

Was könntest du arbeiten?
I have worked in a lot of different jobs back home. I started working in hospitality from when I was 14 years old. Worked all the way up to being a manager of a beachbar. Although I loved this position, I like working in a supporting role more than being in a manager position. I never stopped working in hospitality next to my first job because I loved it so much.
When I was about 21 years old I got my diploma at the school for Mediamanagement. Here I learned about videography/photography, and also a lot about working in the mediaworld. I have worked for RTL, what is the number one leading network in The Netherlands. We made a television show where companys could buy air-time to sell their product. This was fun for about 1 year, then the company underwent a big change where the main focus was on marketing and selling and my job changed to being really commerical. This was not something I really enjoyed so we separated ways in good terms.
My first/main job the last 4 years was for the government of The Netherlands. I worked as a prison guard for 4 years. This job is not always easy but I did it with a smile and was good for the people inside. You get what you give really applies here. I learned a lot about myself during these last 4 years I worked there and even got a diploma in security while I was working for them. This was the last job where I worked for before staring my world travels.

I am super enthousiastic about life and like to see the positive side of something rather than the negative. I'm all about learning and developing new skills and I'm still learning about myself alot too. I would describe myself as an 'adventure seeker' and can't wait for all the experiences I will have in the future. I'm also into sports and workout almost everyday. Can't wait to meet you! :)
