Tätigkeiten, die mich interessieren:

I'm up for most things with the exception of caving or confined spaces! I'm not a fan of heights but enjoy climbing and abseiling (I know it's a bit odd)!

Beschreibung

After quitting the 'rat race' of 20 years, I decided to spend time visiting the World in an environmental way by cycling. This is the slow travel I love and a real chance to see parts of a country you just would not see by bus or train.

I want the opportunity to learn more about a country's culture and people. Plus sometimes I need to take a break from cycling and more time to visit a city!

I am also a keen photographer and like a combination of street and portrait photography. I am working on my landscape photography so any advice and opportunities to practice are always welcome.

I also enjoy writing and currently write my blog, www.wanderingcrank.co.uk . This is an area I am still investing a lot of time and developing.

In the long term (i.e. when I have finished cycle touring) I am investigating opportunities to develop a hostel for aiding cycle tourists.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Whilst my career was based on business in sales, operations and planning management. Outside of work, my life was mainly based outdoors in nature. I am a qualified BS-AC scuba diving instructor and keen cyclist. As such I enjoy meeting new people.

Other skills of interest:
* Basic DIY - maintenance of a home.
* Front of house - bar/hotel work.
* Cooking - including for large groups 20+
* Strong IT skills including basic programming and system development
* Project management

SCUBA diving, cycling and running (although not since I took up cycling round the World). I have a mild interest in economics and this usually takes the form of most of my reading!
