Hello travelers and hosts!

My name is Virginia, and I’m from Tuscany, a region in central Italy. I work in the tourism industry and manage vacation homes across Italy. I love my job because it allows me to connect with people from all over the world and take care of them!

I enjoy learning new things on any topic. I like listening and observing, and I never shy away from challenges. Discovering new cultures and perspectives excites me, and I believe I grow through contact with others' experiences.

I have a degree in interior design, and I’m skilled in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, as well as AutoCAD, Rhinoceros, and 3DStudioMax.

I’m a Property Manager, and I also independently manage two properties of my own. In my job, I handle everything—from home staging to photography, from bureaucracy to problem-solving. I work online, which allows me to travel and work remotely.

For my clients, I design spaces dedicated to short-term (and long-term) rentals, business cards, brochures, flyers, and graphics in general. I love drawing and can also do it digitally.

I adore children and have fun with them because, deep down, I’ll always feel like a child myself, and I love seeing them laugh! At home, I cook and take care of all the household chores, so it’s a pleasure for me to do the same wherever I go.

I've been around animals since I was little. I grew up with dogs, and currently, I have two of my own, who stay with my mom while I travel. However, one of them loves to travel and usually comes with me whenever possible. When I was young, I practiced English-style horseback riding, but as I grew older, I realized I preferred grooming horses over competing. A few years ago, I discovered "gentle training" or natural hormanship and fell in love with this new way of relating to horses, based on mutual respect and understanding.

I also love practicing Ashtanga yoga, I’ve recently started the second series.

I’m fascinated by psychology, literature, philosophy, body language, and communication, whether it’s animal, human, or even plant-based.

Was noch ...

I’d like to improve my language skills and learn new things that Workawayers or Hosts can teach me, of any kind!

My work is related to design and tourism, so anything connected to these topics, whether it’s art or writing, is really helpful.
However, I also love working with my hands, fixing things, and taking care of the house, the garden, or animals.

I enjoy reading and often read several books at the same time. Currently, I’m reading Philippe Jacquin’s "History of the Native Americans" and Clarissa Pinkola Estés "Women who run with the Wolves".

My favorite singers are Tracy Chapman and Paolo Nutini… I can't choose just one song!
