Hello everyone! We are Vincenzo (23) and Daria (23) both very interested in travelling, seeking experiences beyond regular tourism. Our goal is to positively impact the places we visit and get to know the local culture. We hope that by helping others and sharing our skills, we can create lasting memories and connections as well as learn new skills ourselves :)

About Vincenzo:
I am Vincenzo, an italian guy who was born in Russia by a Russian mother and an Italian father. I have lived all my life in Italy and when I had the opportunity, I travelled to different places in Europe! I speak Italian, Russian, English and Spanish and I always try to learn new words of other languages (Portuguese for expample). In the future I would like to work in education because I want to help young people to discover their full potential :)
I am currently studying English language and literature at the University in Italy, but I want to learn many new things outside the "academic world".
My first ever workaway experience was in Sweden in Summer 2022 and it was one of the best experiences I have ever had!!
I can always help to improve your English or teach something in Italian!
But I also want to help in all the ways you would need, just tell me how and I will give my best, even if it is something I don't know how to do, I want to learn and improve my skills while working.
I like walking, cycling my bike, looking at the nature, drinking tea, having deep talks and learn more about human mind.
I think that communication is the key in every type of relationship and social interactions are important for us humans, I want to grow and explore more about myself so I can help others with their personal growth.

About Daria:
Hi there:) I’m Daria, but almost everyone call me Dasha - I am originally from Russia but live in Germany for the past 13 years. Until last year I’ve been working as a nurse first in surgery and after in psychiatry unit, and now I’m diving into studies with the goal of being an art therapist in future while working as a bartender in part time.
When I’m not studying or working, you’ll find me getting creative - drawing, sculpting, and experimenting with different materials and methods. Also I do like plants a lot and try to grow at least some veggies every year on my balcony.
Traveling is a big passion of mine: I’ve explored various countries in Europe, Africa, and Southeast Asia. Sadly, I haven’t had the chance to do proper volunteer work yet, but I’m very excited to start!
I’m curious and hardworking. Always enjoy connecting with people and talk about whatever topic comes up during the conversation :)
I am able to work whether in a team or by myself. Thanks to my previous work as a nurse you can trust on my ability to see where help is needed and get my tasks done!

Languages I speak: German, Russian, English, learning Spanish

Also important to know:
We are dedicated vegans, love animals and do believe that kindness, respect and the right to live should be extended to all living beings, not just humans. We are mentioning this, to let possible hosts know that even though we’re very curious about local experiences and eager to immerse ourselves in new cultures, we do have our principles and follow a strict vegan diet. If the available food isn’t vegan, it’s not a problem at all — we’re more than happy to cook for ourselves. By the way: our dietary choices are personal, and we are okay with everyone’s food preferences :)

So far, we would not say that we are specialised in something particular (besides the skills we mentioned in the profile description already) but we adapt quickly, so whatever you need, just teach show us how it is done and we definitely will do our best.

Maybe we would not be the best choice for your workaway if you need help with the following or similar tasks:

- Help in farms with live stock or similar conditions for the animals
- Cooking meals which contains animal products
- Mainly help with Computers and Internet

Other than that - we are motivated to help wherever we can!!!
