Hi future hosts!

We're Valeria and Giovanni, a couple from Sardinia, Italy.

In January 2025 we will begin a year of travels and new exciting adventures around Asia! We will begin our journey in South Korea, and we'll see where our hearts take us from there.

We started travelling as soon as we met in 2019, we first took trips around our own region and our own country, and then we moved on to Europe. We moved to Dublin in 2021 and we lived there for 3 years, working while travelling around the country.

Giovanni: I am an experienced chef and pizza chef, I started working at the age of 16 in my family's Pizzeria.
Valeria: I have a vast experience in customer facing jobs both online and in physical locations. I started working at the age of 16 in a Hotel in Switzerland.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

We are avid DIYers, we love crafting and building small appliances with wood (such as pet shelters, benches, chairs etc..). We are great with manual work, we enjoy it very much and we're good at following directions.

We have experience in pet and farm animal care (we have 5 cats, 1 dog at home, and turkeys, chicken and geese in the fields).

We are passionate about foraging: in our region we mainly forage mushrooms and asparagus. We also have experience in gardening and gathering fruits, vegetables and olives, as our families own some fields in the countryside.

We are very good cooks (Giovanni also professionally), so we are excited to share our food culture and our recipes with our hosts!

Was noch ...

We appreciate all kinds of art, ranging from music, to theatre, painting, drawing, movies etc..
Our hobbies are:
-taking long walks around the city
-hiking in nature
-beach trips
-camping
While we enjoy being outdoors very much, we also enjoy doing fun activities indoor such as:
-playing card games
-playing videogames
-board games

We like being active and playing sports, we have been doing Taekwondo for the past 2 years.

Last but not least we LOVE food! This is another passion that bonded us together since the beginning. We are very excited to try new foods and find new flavors!

Our goal for this trip is to fully immerse ourselves in each country's culture and everyday life, more like locals than liike tourists.
